Our primary objective at this cottage-like home was to create a generous sense of space, with a modest budget and minimum intervention to the existing structure. Harnessing our clients’ fun-loving, unique sense of style Georgina Wilson Architect approached the project as an homage to the quintessential 1950’s quarter acre block with freestanding cottage. Through minimal interference with the existing 1950s home, GWA applied some shrewd replanning throughout a sympathetic addition to the rear of the property.  The result is a characterful upgrade to the home that honours the building’s charm whilst extending its amenity for our clients.
