PADDINGTON TERRACE I
What was once a dark, dank Victorian terrace in Sydney’s leafy Paddington, has been reinvigorated by GWA and flooded with natural light. The sensitive heritage renovation took a perceptive approach to harnessing natural light – doing so through a central courtyard drawing it into the home and by better maximising the light available at the rear and front of the property. By pushing into underutilised spaces such as the unused attic and basement, GWA delivered the client considerable additional floorspace allowing other areas of the home to be better replanned - offering a generous sense of movement and a more practical appointment of its rooms.
