Transforming this old apartment by the harbourfront park in Rushcutters Bay, Georgina Wilson Associates sought to establish an environment of casual, classic elegance and quiet luxury. Working with the canvas of greens and blues outside, the interior design features a neutral palette and quality natural materials that embrace the light and calm surroundings. Inspiration has been drawn from the curves of Art Deco design, the forms of mid-century Italian furniture and the sophisticated parquetry floors of Parisian apartments, yet the mix of materials, tones and relaxed lines has created a space that is warm, inviting and uniquely Australian
